Dovgan Millet 1 kg
Millet is not only a tasty, but also a very healthy side dish. It contains many minerals and trace elements.
Preparation instructions:
1. Bring one part of millet and two parts of slightly salted water to a boil in a saucepan.
2. Simmer over low heat for about 20 minutes.
3. Refine the cooked millet with butter as desired.

Millet-pear casserole
Ingredients for 4 servings for a preparation of millet-pear casserole:
100 ml of water
100 g of millet
100 ml of milk
4 Bulbs
4 Eggs
4 tablespoons of honey
50 g ground hazelnuts
1 tsp cinnamon
Juice and zest of half a lemon
Salt to taste
Preparation:
Mix millet, milk, water, cinnamon and salt in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Simmer over low heat for about 8 minutes. Turn off the hotplate and let it swell for another 10-15 minutes. Separate the eggs. Mix the egg yolks with honey, hazelnuts, lemon juice and lemon zest. Add the pitted and chopped pears and millet. Beat the egg whites until stiff and lift them under the millet mixture. Spread the mixture in a greased baking dish and bake at 175°C in the oven for about 30 minutes until the surface is golden brown.
